At 3300 metres above sea level, Shey is one of the Oldest Civilisations situated on the banks of River Indus. Village Shey is an Ancient Capital of Ladakh and has a breath taking panoramic view of Thiksey monastery, Stok Kangri, Ladakh Range & Shey Palace. Along with our local scouts you could step into a beautiful village walk across the river and can truly feel the nature with your naked eyes. Experiencing the rural Ladakh, lush green farms, poplar & willow trees, Cattle Rearing, fresh air, chirping of birds, traditional architectural Ladakhi homes and much more would be a boggling go through. A place most of you visit only in an Atlas. In a time that wasn't measured by cuckoos that sprang out of clocks. In a silence that was sometimes punctuated by Howling winds and gushing streams. Sunsets and Shanti go hand in hand. In a world that had nothing to do with yours. Seems like the reason enough to be here.

Experience organic dining with us from dusk to dawn. We provide fresh food from our own garden & farm. A healthy morning with Ladakhi butter tea or freshly brewed coffee with locally baked bread and butter. Freshly grown fruits [apples, apricots, sea buckthorns (Ladakhi berries) & walnuts] vegetables, herbs and organic dairy products are used by our chefs. The staple food of Ladakh is Sku and Thukpa (made of wheat flour), Pava (made of sattu) and khambir (local bread), Momos and tsampa are well known as Ladakhi ngampe (roasted barley flour). Barley is fermented to make a local wine called 'Chang'. Our Live Kitchen & Barbeque aimed at inducing local and global cuisines
